Thanks for checking out my website. I find it hard to categorize what I do; I can say I am the head cook and the bottle washer of the visual world.

My artistic journey began at fifteen when I started my formal education at Azadehgan art and architecture high school in Tehran. There, I delved into the fundamentals of art and design, exploring analog photography, drawing, painting, printmaking, art history, color theory, and more.

After high school, I pursued my passion for Graphic Design at Azad University of Tehran, earning my bachelor’s degree in 1999.

My career took off at a renowned design agency, where I worked with international clients like Panasonic, Peugeot, and Renault.

A few years later, I was promoted to design director of the department.

In 2006, I moved to Toronto to pursue a Master of Design (MDes) at York University. Post-graduation, I collaborated with institutions such as OISE University of Toronto, Learning Technologies at Ryerson University, BMO, and CIBC on various projects, including product design, logo design, branding, packaging design, UI/UX design, motion graphics, book illustration, fashion photography, and visual strategy and research.

In 2016, my passion for learning led me back to school. Three years later, I earned my Master of Fine Arts from OCAD University, focusing on type-based installation artworks that explored the interconnections between Women, Migration, and Self-Censorship.

Though my academic career and experiences are centered around human-centered research, particularly on women's socio-political and psychological issues, a serendipitous turn in 2019 led me to teaching.

As a high school art teacher, I found immense joy

in inspiring and guiding children in the Yonge community, helping them uncover their unique artistic expressions. Currently, as an instructor at OCAD University, I lead students in crafting cohesive visual narratives for both print and digital media, developing course materials, providing feedback, and assessing their progress. I also teach diverse classes for children and teenagers at the Canada Contemporary School of Art, sharing my knowledge and finding great rewards in the process.

My work has been recognized by BBC Persian and Now Magazine, among others.

In essence, I am an interdisciplinary artist and designer passionate about making everyday life more satisfying by creating thoughtful and striking visual products. I look forward to hearing from you.
